This bar is unscented. I cut these by hand and some may say I'm not good at it xD. Hence, there are some that are slightly bigger than others. Every soap bar, however, is at least 4.5 oz.

Tallow has an amazing composition of fatty acids which make it a great addition to skin care. I go the extra mile and use 100% Grass-fed Beef Suet Tallow which is specifically the fat surrounding the kidneys. It's higher is nutrients, harder and more stable. It is dry rendered at low heat and filtered through 4 layers of cheesecloth. This yields a nearly odorless and buttery tallow. All my tallow is sourced from regenerative small farms in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Hormone, Steroid, Vaccine, and Pesticide-Free.

How I make this: This soap is made using the cold process. Lye (sodium hydroxide) is mixed with distilled water and left to cool. The oils and butters are melted (always at low heat) and left to cool. Once they reach similar temperatures of each other, they are blended together with an immersion blender until trace (pudding consistency). It is then poured into a mold and let to sit for 24 hours. I unmold, cut it and let it sit in a cool dry place for 6 weeks. I test the ph of each batch before selling to ensure that all the water and lye has evaporated thus making it safe for skin.
